The Entrance
Guest ranch is located in the scenic foothills of the Canadian Rockies
near Hinton, Alberta, just 20 minutes from Jasper National park. We
offer clean non-smoking log cabins and rooms with full kitchen
facilities so you can do your own cooking.
A peaceful setting within full view of the front ranges of the Rockies
you are welcome to come stay and play.
Horse trail rides begin at your doorstep, as well as hiking and
canoeing at nearby Switzer provincial park with a chain of five small
lakes. The ranch is ideal as a base for forays into world famous Jasper
National park with its many natural wonders.
Besides our log cabins you can pitch your own tent
or even set
up a camper. Or sleep in
the hay loft of the barn as kids sometimes enjoy doing.
The town of Hinton is only 8 -10 minutes drive away with numerous
stores and restaurants.

The Entrance
ranch is only minutes from the Athabasca lookout Nordic Centre, located
in William Switzer Provincial Park. The Nordic Centre has a large
rustic day lodge and 35 km of groomed trails that are maintained on
regular basis and are run by the Hinton Nordic Skiers. For more
